An olfactory journey through too much black pepper, white roses (dyed red), mad tea, and carrot cake. Act IV, Scene 1. The inspiration for "Lost Alice" came from Chapter 7, "The Mad Tea Party," where you can almost smell the tea, milk, bread, and butter served by the Hatter in a picturesque setting. Add a few cakes to complement the British cream tea, and the magic is complete. Interpreted by Mackenzie Reilly

The creative Italian niche perfume brand Masque Milano is inspired by everything that can evoke the most sincere and genuine admiration. Following fragrances dedicated to the masterpieces of Italian opera, unique natural landscapes, and significant cultural sites, the perfumers decided to dive headfirst into the captivating world of literature. This is how a mysterious floral-woody perfume with musky overtones in the drydown was born, named Masque Milano Lost Alice. As the name suggests, the composition is dedicated to the legendary "Alice in Wonderland" by the talented Lewis Carroll—a wondrous tale where fiction often borders on reality and addresses the highly relevant issues of modern society. Author Mackenzie Reilly drew inspiration from the famous "Mad Tea Party" scene from Chapter 7 of the novel. The stunning atmosphere of this event, the appetizing scents of freshly brewed tea, milk, and flowers, as well as the Mad Hatter's character, are conveyed here almost flawlessly. The aromatic formula of Masque Milano Lost Alice opens with the captivating warmth of oriental ambrette and spicy pepper, counterbalanced by fresh notes of bergamot and tart clary sage. The center reveals recognizable accords of black tea, the unusual scent of carrot seeds, and a floral undertone expressed in the union of iris and white roses. The creamy trail of the perfume is adorned with woody strands of sandalwood and the honeyed fluids of broom.
