The Masque Milano brand is the story of its founders, Alessandro and Riccardo, two close friends who share many passions. They both love travel, books, good music, design objects, natural materials, and handcrafted items. Both are incorrigible dreamers who founded Masque after years of searching for the best perfumers and raw material suppliers in Grasse, France, and throughout Italy. Alessandro and Riccardo have compiled a collection of "scenes" reflecting moments from their past, describing the places they've been fortunate enough to visit, their friends and lovers, their feelings, déjà vu, and recurring dreams.

Masque Milano doesn't aim to create a myth, a bestseller, or a universal fragrance for the general public. Instead, they've created a collection of unique and individual fragrances, like a "second skin," with a soul hidden behind the mask. Just as there is no actor who can play every role, or no musician who can perform professionally in every musical style, there is no perfumer who can single-handedly create every scene in an opera. That's why each fragrance from the Opera Masque has its own unique "nose."
