Passiflora is a new vibrant, fresh fruity-floral fragrance for women, created in 2018 by perfumer Thierry Wasser for the renowned French brand Guerlain. It is the latest addition to the popular Aqua Allegoria line. The composition is based on the scent of the tropical passion fruit flower (also known as passionflower or passion flower). Passiflora means "fruit of passion," and indeed, it has an alluring aroma, sweet and sensual. The beauty of the passion fruit scent is enhanced by invigorating citrus and aquatic accords, as well as floral notes of sweet-tart orange blossom and exotic ylang-ylang. The fragrance pyramid opens with citrus notes of bergamot, lemon, grapefruit, and mandarin. The sensual heart features accords of orange blossom, ylang-ylang, passionfruit, and aquatic notes. The fragrance concludes with a delicate trail of white musk accents. The fragrance is housed in the line's signature cylindrical bottle, this time in a pinkish-peach hue. The top of the bottle is adorned with a delicate, gold-toned honeycomb lattice.
