Absolu for Women is a new warm and enveloping chypre-floral fragrance for women, created in 2018 by perfumer Michel Almairac for the Italian fashion house Bottega Veneta. It is a richer version of the 2011 debut, retaining its refined leather-chypre character. The composition features the brand's signature elegant leather accord, complemented by Sambac jasmine and ambroxan, an ingredient reminiscent of natural ambergris and adding new musky, woody, and ambery facets to the bouquet. The fragrance pyramid opens with bright citrusy notes of bergamot and delicate spicy nuances of pink pepper. The heart reveals intoxicating accords of white Sambac jasmine.
