The history of the Lanvin brand begins in 1889, when a very young girl, Jeanne Lanvin, opened a small hat shop in Paris. Soon Jeanne organized a small workshop for sewing fashionable clothes for women. In 1926, the production of a men's clothing line was established, and a little later - children's. Exactly one year later, she presented her first perfume to the world, which was called Lanvin. The brand's calling card was the perfume created by the famous perfumer Andrea Freis. They are called Arpege and contain more than 60 components of floral aromas. For more than 80 years, this perfume has delighted its owners. After Jeanne's death, her daughter took over the business and successfully managed it until her death in 1958. After that, a protracted crisis set in at the Lanvin house. And only after the arrival of designer Alber Elbaz in 2001 did its revival begin. It was Elbaz who turned Lanvin into a popular fashion brand. The brand's clothing lines and perfumes are designed in a classic style, so their popularity does not fade over the years.
