Estee Lauder was born in 1908 and at the age of 9 she created her first cream with her own hands using a recipe from her uncle, a chemist. In 1933, together with her husband, she held her first "advertising campaign" by placing an ad for the sale of cosmetics in the New York telephone directory. And then Estee took step by step towards her colossal success. And by the end of the 50s, the brand became the third most popular in the USA. Another invention of Estee Lauder is advertising her products with free samples; in fact, testers are her invention. The first fragrance created by the brand was the women's perfume Youth Dew. Estee Lauder did not chase fashion trends in the world of perfumery - she created the fashion for fragrances herself. The most famous perfume is Pleasures, created in 1995. Another perfume that became a bestseller is the woody fragrance Sensuous. Today, Estee Lauder is a corporation of 18 brands: Aramis, Clinique, Origins, Tommy Hilfiger, Donna Karan and other companies working in all possible areas of the perfume and cosmetics business.
