List of products by brand CREED

The House of Creed was founded by James Henry Creed in London in 1760. That same year, King George III ascended the British throne. The young monarch ordered perfumed gloves from the newly opened Creed studio, and then perfume. That was 260 years ago, and since then the House of Creed has been creating fragrances worthy of royalty.

By the will of George III's great-granddaughter Queen Victoria, Creed became the official supplier to the royal court. And in 1854, at the invitation of Napoleon III and his wife Eugenie, a trendsetter throughout Europe, the House of Creed moved to Paris.

In Paris during the Second Empire, Creed became famous for its impeccable tailoring and rare fragrances that were released in limited editions. Creed's tactful, attentive approach to creating perfume compositions was legendary.

During the existence of the house, more than 200 fragrances were created. The secrets of craftsmanship and perfume talent are the legacy of seven generations of the Creed family. Today, the house's traditions are continued by James Henry Creed's direct heir, Oliver. Together with his son Erwin, Oliver Creed goes in search of rare components to different corners of the world. Roses from Bulgaria, Turkey and Morocco, jasmine from Italy, iris from Florence, tuberose from India, Haitian vetiver and bourbon vanilla are just some of the treasures that are delivered to the Creed laboratories.

Creed's headquarters are still in Paris. At the Fontainebleau plant, Creed produces perfume essences using a complex infusion technique. Natural components are weighed and mixed by hand, and then poured with oil for maceration. This production process is very labor-intensive and therefore rare in the modern world, but it is what distinguishes Creed from other brands. Traditional techniques allow you to get high-quality fragrances with a unique sound. Creed fragrances combine the past, present and future of perfumery.
