Christina Aguilera is a signature perfume line by the popular American singer Christina Aguilera, created in 2004. The first collection of 4 fragrances (X Pose Desire, X Pose Glamour, X Pose Passion and X Pose Stardust) was sold only in Europe and was discontinued shortly after its launch. Success came to the brand in 2007 after it was purchased by Procter & Gamble, which restyled the entire line. The new design of the bottles, reminiscent of a female silhouette and decorated with lace ornaments, was inspired by a dress created by Marcel Rocha for Mae West. The first release of the updated line, a bright floral-fruity composition Christina Aguilera, became a sales leader in the UK in 2007 and in Germany in 2009. Both this and subsequent works by SA won numerous awards, including the Dutch Drugstore Award, Fifi Award, Duftstars Awards, Swedish Beauty & Cosmetic Award, Swedish Cosmopolitan Beauty Award and Glammy Awards. In 2016, the brand became the property of Elizabeth Arden Inc., and in 2019, it presented the Xperience fragrance, dedicated to the singer’s show of the same name, which combined music, lighting effects and perfume (the fragrances were distributed in the audience using special devices).
