Vilhelm Parfumerie is an American niche perfume brand created by designer Jan Vilhelm Ahlgren.
Brand History
Jan Ahlgren was born and raised in Sweden, then moved to Paris and traveled a lot, taking his first steps in the fashion world. In New York, he met his future wife Polly, who also became his business partner. The designer considers himself a modern Mr. Gatsby, for whom charm and charisma are the keys to success in life. He always does everything elegantly, softly and sincerely.
Having finally settled in the United States, Ahlgren took up bag design. To make the products more attractive, Ahlgren decided to scent them, as was done in the old days. Soon he met the famous perfumer Jerome Epinette. The result of this fateful meeting was the creation of the Vilhelm Parfumerie brand, which he named after his grandfather Wilhelm. The brand debuted in 2015 with eight fragrances at once.
