Tam Dao is a floral, woody-musky unisex fragrance for men and women, released in 2003 by the iconic French brand Diptyque. The perfume is inspired by the beauty of the Vietnamese Tam Dao National Park, where Yves Couslant, one of the founders of the Diptyque brand, spent his childhood. This park is a world treasure trove of sandalwood trees, which contain a unique enchanting aroma in their trunks. The perfume composition opens with delicate notes of rose, myrtle and Italian cypress. Velvety accords of sandalwood and white cedar sound in the heart. The sound ends with a light trail, composed of accents of hot spices, soft amber, white musk and rosewood.
