Deauville is a new fresh, invigorating citrus-floral-chypre unisex fragrance for men and women, created in 2018 by the famous perfumer Olivier Polge for the French fashion house Chanel. The composition is part of the new collection of fragrances "Les Eaux De Chanel", inspired by the travels of the brand's founder Gabrielle Chanel through the cities of France and Italy. The perfume is dedicated to one of her favorite cities - Deauville, where she opened her first boutique back in 1913. The composition, inspired by the landscapes of the Normandy coast, combines sweet, energetic and juicy citrus notes of Sicilian orange with a sweet-spicy, "green" accord of basil. The perfume pyramid opens with a fresh citrus cocktail of notes of orange, bergamot, lemon, lime and petitgrain surrounded by balsamic shades of basil. The floral heart features exquisite accords of white jasmine, spicy-honey velvety rose against a cool background of green notes. The sound is completed by a sensual enveloping trail, composed of oriental accents of mysterious patchouli. The perfume is enclosed in a light round bottle made of clear transparent glass, topped with a black cylindrical cap.
