Molecule Iris is a new vibrant woody-floral unisex fragrance for men and women, created in 2021 by perfumer Geza Schoen for the niche brand Eccentric Molecule. The composition is part of the new M+ collection, which also includes two fragrances: Molecule 01 Patchouli and Molecule 01 Mandarin. The new fragrance's bouquet is based on the powdery scent of iris absolute, derived from the root of the Iris pallida, one of the most expensive varieties of this plant. The second component of the formula is the synthetic molecule Iso E Super, with a warm, velvety woody note. The main accords are complemented by subdued notes of long-lasting musk and noble amber. The traditionally shaped bottle and packaging of Molecule 01 + Iris are decorated in blue.
