In 2016, the talented French couturier and connoisseur of contemporary fashion, Marc-Antoine Barrois, launched his own perfume line, presenting his debut fragrance, a collaboration with the brilliant Quentin Bisch. A few years later, in 2019, its "little brother" was released: the noble woody-spicy elixir Marc-Antoine Barrois Ganymede. Its name refers to Ganymede, the imposing moon of Jupiter, which, according to ancient legends, attracted the supreme god Zeus with its extraordinary beauty and radiance. The fragrance offers a modern take on cosmic theory, defying all laws of gravity with its appearance. Its mysterious melody sweeps you away to the picturesque landscapes of Lake Maggiore, located on the border of Italy and Switzerland. It was here that the maestro drew his creative inspiration, imbued with the power of pristine nature. The composition, like the brand's debut fragrance, vividly features intense green notes of violet leaves and the rich, animalic scent of suede. These contrasting temperaments create the perfume's unique harmony, representing the light and dark sides of human nature. The masculinity of the pyramid is expressed through a range of spicy notes of saffron, dry, spicy immortelle, and luxurious Chinese osmanthus. To lighten the fragrance's weight a bit, the creators complemented it with piercing notes of fresh Italian mandarin and a bouquet of mineral accords.
