AJ Arabia was founded by Ali Aljaberi, a chemical engineer who studied marketing, management, communication and media at the Sorbonne in Paris. A passion for perfumery and his own extensive perfume 'library', work and studies - all this brought Ali Aljaberi to Paris, where he had the opportunity to get to know the 'underbelly' of the perfume industry and explore the untapped niches of the perfume market: "luxury French-Oriental fragrances with an international vision". "Every big brand has its oud fragrance, but I could rarely call such fragrances authentic until I met the master perfumer Jean-Claude Astier," Ali Aljaberi notes. Jean-Claude Astier is known to perfume lovers as the 'nose' behind the M. Micallef oud collection and many other fine fragrances. Together, Jean-Claude Astier and Ali Aljaberi have created the debut fragrance of the AJ Arabia collection, the first scent of the Black Collection, simply called '1'. The company will launch two lines - the Black Collection and the Gold Collection. The fragrances of both collections will be designated by numbers instead of names. Both collections will have an 'Arabian DNA': "AJ Arabia presents the luxurious oriental scents of Arabia, mixed with floral and fruity notes from around the globe," says Ali Aljaberi. Both collections will embody the core values ​​of the company - authenticity, purity, simplicity and craftsmanship. However, the Gold Collection will feature fragrances with a more oud-ambery bent than the Black Collection. Both collections will also avoid gender division. "If you like it, then wear it" is the motto of the line, which aims to "take perfumery back to its roots, when beautiful scents had no gender." All AJ Arabia fragrances will be designed to be worn by both men and women. The brown glass bottles decorated with Arabic patterns and the black and gold outer packaging are inspired by the architecture of the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, "which embodies luxury and beauty." The first fragrance of the Black Collection, Black Collection 1, combines traditional oriental spicy notes with beautiful and timeless accords of wood and musk. Top notes: Cinnamon, Cardamom.
