Vetiver is a new laconic and at the same time spectacular woody-fougere fragrance for men, created in 2018 by perfumer Christine Nagel for the French fashion house Hermes as part of the popular Terre d'Hermes collection. As the name of the perfume suggests, the spicy-smoky notes of vetiver in the composition reach their apogee and acquire even more weight and significance than in the original fragrance of 2006. This rich scent of vetiver is surrounded by fresh citrus notes and green accents of Sichuan pepper, which is practically devoid of pungency and has a cool spicy sound with hints of anise, lemon and nutmeg. The perfume invigorates, refreshes, gives strength and improves mood. The pyramid opens with powerful hot and sensual notes of vetiver. The heart is filled with invigorating accords of Chinese Sichuan pepper and tart-bitter, with sweet and sour nuances, notes of citrus (bergamot). The sound ends with a base trail made up of woody and earthy accents. The perfume is enclosed in a rectangular bottle traditional for the entire line, this time topped with a dark brown cap.
