Izia La Nuit is a new evening fragrance for women, a deep and sensual floral-chypre-woody fragrance, released in 2021 by the French perfume and cosmetics brand Sisley. A flanker of the 2017 Izia composition, it is also built around the sensual aroma of a special rose variety. These roses grow in the garden of the ancestral estate of Countess Isabelle d'Ornano (founder of the House of Sisley) and bloom only once a season for a very short time. The fragrance pyramid opens with fresh citrus notes of mandarin, tart blackcurrant, and warm, spicy cardamom. The heart reveals a luxurious floral bouquet of Ornano rose, delicate freesia, and magnolia. The fragrance concludes with a warm, woody trail of patchouli, vanilla, ambroxan, and labdanum resin. The fragrance is housed in a designer bottle covered in shiny black lacquer. A golden liquid glows through small oval "windows." The fragrance's name, Izia, is handwritten by Isabelle D'Ornano and is a diminutive of the Polish name Isabelle. A magnificent floral chypre, a hymn to the night, love, and mystery!
