Idole Intense is a new floral-chypre fragrance for women, released in 2020 by the French perfume and cosmetics brand Lancôme. It is the first flanker of last year's popular Idole composition. The main accord features the charming rose flower—the symbol of the renowned house of Lancôme—embellished with accents of three types of jasmine. The fragrance pyramid opens with fresh citrus notes of mandarin and bitter orange. The heart unfolds with a luxurious floral bouquet of intoxicating honeyed Turkish and Grasse roses, exquisite Egyptian and Indian jasmine, Sambac jasmine, and musk. The composition concludes with an elegant white chypre base composed of spicy patchouli accents, noble woody notes of resinous creamy cedar, exotic cashmere wood, acacia, and creamy sandalwood, softened by seductive Bourbon and Madagascar vanilla. The perfume is housed in an elegant bottle, a darker pink than the original, thanks to the metallic coating on the back and sides. It's still incredibly thin (just 15 mm thick), making it easy to fit even in a small handbag.
