Gabrielle Essence is a new sunny and voluptuous floral fragrance for women, created in 2019 by Olivier Polge, in-house perfumer for the renowned French fashion house Chanel. The first flanker of the popular Gabrielle composition from 2017, this richer and more intoxicating variation draws on the sweet, feminine floral scent of a bouquet of white flowers: ylang-ylang, orange blossom, jasmine, and Grasse tuberose. The emphasis is placed on the latter component, tuberose. The luxurious fragrance pyramid opens with citrus notes and delicate pink pepper. The heart is redolent of white flowers: orange blossom, ylang-ylang, tuberose, and jasmine. The scent concludes with a lingering trail of sensual sandalwood and musk. The perfume is housed in a square yellow bottle, the edges of which create a sun-like effect when hit by light.
