The Giardini di Toscana brand began its activity in 1942 in Italy. In the village of Casentino, Giovan Piero and Emma Ducci opened a small perfume business, which was then passed down from generation to generation under different brand names. Giovan Piero created unique fragrances, simultaneously writing a book of "perfume recipes".

After the death of Giovan and Emma, ​​the family business was owned by Irma, their daughter, who put all her efforts into it. Even during her school years, she and her class made repairs and raised the small shop to the level of a prestigious boutique. In 1960, it sparkled with new colors.

Then Silvia Martinelli was born and the family legacy passed to her. When she grew up, she began to study the book of recipes for fragrances of her grandfather and learn to create incredible perfumes that immediately sold out. The girl liked the "perfume cooking" so much that she began to come up with her own compositions, based on her grandfather's recipes.
